Account Executive – OEM Aftersales Consulting
**Overview**
M5 partners with automotive manufacturers to strengthen dealer network performance in parts, service, and Fixed Operations. We're hiring an Account Executive to sell our consulting, training, and advisory services directly to OEM aftersales, dealer development, and Fixed Ops leadership teams.
This is a strategic, relationship\-driven sales role — you'll be selling into corporate manufacturer organizations, not individual dealerships, with deal cycles built on trust, credibility, and measurable ROI.
**What You'll Do**
Identify and develop new business opportunities within OEM aftersales, Fixed Ops, and dealer development divisions
Build relationships with key decision\-makers — Aftersales Directors, Dealer Development leadership, Regional VPs, Field Operations executives
Understand each OEM's dealer network challenges (absorption, CSI, MPI compliance, service retention, GM/Fixed Ops turnover) and position our consulting and training solutions as the fix
Develop and deliver compelling proposals and business cases showing projected impact on dealer profitability and network performance
Manage a consultative, multi\-stakeholder sales cycle from prospecting through contract close
Collaborate with our delivery/consulting team to ensure proposed engagements align with what we can execute
Maintain a pipeline and forecast accurately against revenue targets
Represent the company at industry conferences, NADA, dealer association events, and OEM meetings
**What you bring**
Existing relationships within OEM aftersales or dealer development organizations
5\+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling consulting, training, or professional services into large organizations
Deep familiarity with automotive retail and Fixed Ops terminology and structure (RO, ELR, CSI, absorption, proforma P\&L, MPI, menu selling)
Experience selling to or working within an OEM, dealer group, or automotive consulting environment strongly preferred
Ability to navigate complex, multi\-stakeholder sales cycles with long\-term relationship building
Strong executive presence — comfortable presenting to VP\- and director\-level audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication; skilled at translating operational data into a business case
**Nice to have**
Background in dealership Fixed Ops management, training, or consulting
Experience with proposal/RFQ processes for enterprise\-level service contracts
**What we offer**
Competitive base \+ commission on closed engagements
Autonomy to build and manage your own pipeline
Direct impact on shaping how OEMs support their dealer networks
