About The Seller Report
Weekly sales job market intelligence, built from real data.
What We Do
The Seller Report tracks the sales job market by analyzing thousands of real job postings every week. We extract salary data, identify hiring trends, and surface the companies building sales teams right now.
No surveys. No self-reported data. Just what companies are posting, what they are paying, and what it means for your career.
How It Works
Our pipeline scrapes job boards weekly, enriches each posting with salary analysis and company data, then generates every page on this site programmatically. The numbers you see are derived from 8,497 active sales job postings across 5,516+ companies.
Who It's For
Sales professionals evaluating the market. AEs wondering if they are underpaid. SDRs planning their next move. Sales leaders benchmarking compensation. Recruiters tracking where the demand is.
Who Built This
Rome Thorndike is the founder of The Seller Report and VP of Revenue at Firmograph.ai. He has spent 15+ years as an enterprise seller and sales leader, carrying a bag at Salesforce and Microsoft, helping scale Snapdocs (Sequoia-backed) from Series A through Series D, and leading sales at Datajoy through its acquisition by Databricks. Rome knows what it's like to grind quota, build territory, and navigate comp plans. He holds an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. He built The Seller Report because sellers deserve career intelligence based on real job posting data, not recruiter promises or anonymous Glassdoor posts.
